ABOUT
Isaiah D. Banks is a mental health professional, therapist, entrepreneur, nationally certified fitness trainer, author, mentor, and mental health advocate with more than nine years of experience in the mental health field. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Shippensburg University and his M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lock Haven University.
Isaiah is the CEO and owner of A Balanced Mind and Body LLC, a private practice and wellness-focused company established in 2025. His work reflects his belief that mental and physical well-being are deeply connected and that true wellness requires attention to the whole person.
Clinically, Isaiah primarily supports high-achieving professionals—including business leaders, athletes, directors, executives, and other accomplished individuals—who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the unique emotional pressures that can accompany success. He also works with adolescents ages 16 and older who are managing similar challenges.
Beyond his clinical work, Isaiah is the author of two Afrocentric coloring books and serves as a mentor within a community-based teen program. He has also shared his expertise through speaking engagements across the Philadelphia area and beyond, including the SELF Program Men’s Workshop, Minds at Work at Shippensburg University, the Clinician Think Tank Retreat, a CDC and NAACP author event, and Black Men’s Heal.
Isaiah’s passion for mental health is deeply personal. He has always wanted to become the person he needed when he was younger—a perspective that continues to shape how he shows up for his clients, community, and audiences. He is passionate about making mental health conversations accessible, relatable, and culturally relevant, while encouraging people to understand their emotions, embrace vulnerability, build healthier relationships, and prioritize both their mental and physical well-being.
Through his work as a clinician, entrepreneur, speaker, author, fitness professional, and mentor, Isaiah strives to create meaningful conversations that remind people that taking care of their mental health is not a weakness—it is an essential part of living a healthy, balanced, and fulfilling life.
